    Feb 8: World Wetlands Day
    World Wetlands events run from 8 am to noon Saturday. A guided bird tour is scheduled for 8:15, a wetlands presentation and the Rolling River will be displayed.     Feb 9: Gila Cliff Dwellings Nat\'l Monument
    When the Monument Visitor Center was reopened in January a new museum was in place displaying artifacts from the area, plus an exhibit on the Chiricahua who feel the Gila Wilderness is a part of the homeland.. A 15-minute video gives more on this history, together with a new bookstore. The Dwellings are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Check on the 1 p.m. guided tour.     May 2: SRAM Tour of the Gila
    The 26th Annual SRAM Tour of the Gila offers a 5-day stage race for: Men Pro,1; Women Pro,1,2; Senior Men 2; Senior Men 3 and Men 40+. The 5-day stage race consists of 3 Road Races, an Individual Time Trial and a Criterium. The 5-day stage race format will be the following: Stage 1: Silver City to Mogollon Road Race, Stage 2: The Inner Loop Road Race, Stage 3: Tyrone Individual Time Trial, Stage 4: Downtown Silver City Criterium and Stage 5: Gila Monster Road Race. The overall General Classification winner will be the rider with the lowest overall time for all the races. The Men Pro, 1 and the Women Pro, 1, 2 races are a part of the 2011 USA Cycling National Racing Calendar.     May 27: Silver City Blues Festival
    May 27, - May 29, 2011 The Silver City Blues Festival is a rollicking three-day series of concerts, street dances, vendors, food, fun and more, in Gough Park and other venues in Historic Downtown. The Silver City Blues Festival has become one of the Southwest\'s premier music festivals, drawing musicians and music fans from around the world. Set in the grassy confines of Gough Park in May of each year, the Blues Festival is a music event, community celebration and all-around block party, set to an outstanding assortment of blues music.
